MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018165 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'automated bolt cap construction device for walls.'
Inventor(s) include Shreshta Bandhu Rastogi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bolt cap construction device for walls, comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface installed with a cuboidal body 2 via a scissor lift arrangement 3 for lifting the body 2, a touch enabled screen 4 accessed by a user to provide input commands for constructing a bolt cap, a camera 5 to detect exact location of hole, multiple wheels to position the body 2 at the hole, a pair of iris lids 7 configured with chambers 8 to dispense putty and epoxy glue within a vessel 9, multiple valves 11 to dispense user-defined colored-paint into the vessel 9, an electronic nozzle 13 configured with vessel 9 to dispense mixture into the hole, a telescopically operated gripper 16 to insert a bolt within the hole, and a speaker 6 to notify the user regarding successful installation of bolt cap."
