MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014295 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'automated brushwood installation device.'

Inventor(s) include Rajdeep Singh; Rachin Goyal; Rohit Singh; and Shivam Pandey.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated brushwood installation device comprises of a platform 1 associated with the device developed to be positioned on ground surface, plurality of omnidirectional wheels 2 installed beneath platform 1 for manoeuvring platform 1 over surface, an artificial intelligence-based image capturing module 3 mounted on platform 1 for determining position of a metal fence, ultrasonic sensor integrated on platform 1 for determining length of fence, motorized roller 4 positioned on platform 1 wrapped with brushwood sheets to unwrap sheet, pair of robotic arms 5 installed on platform 1 to successfully position sheet over fence, laser sensor integrated on platform 1 to detect length of sheet unwrapped from roller 4, motorized cutter 7 assembled on platform 1 via telescopic rod 8, that extends and position cutter 7 in proximity to sheet, electronically controlled nozzle 9 configured with storage unit 10 for dispensing solution over sheet and fence."
