MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023127 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'automated button-manufacturing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated button-manufacturing device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a fixed surface, plurality of suction cups 2 to adhere to the surface for securing the frame on surface, a display panel 3 for enabling a user to provide input regarding user-desired buttons to be manufactured, a motorized flap 4 to get opened/closed for allowing user to accommodate multiple plastic pellets in a chamber 5, a heating unit 6 to provide an optimum amount of heat to chamber 5 for melting the pellets, an imaging unit 7 to monitor melting status of pellets, a first 8 and second frames 9 facing towards each other, a telescopically operated rod 11 to extend/retract for positioning first frame 8 underneath an iris lid 12, plurality of electromagnets 13 to engage the frames together in a secured manner for attaining a die and a motorized cutter 16 to cut user-desired buttons from structure."
