MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019220 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'automated cake rolling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cake rolling device, comprising a platform 101 placed on a stable surface having multiple rods 102 that provides stability and balance, motorized omnidirectional wheel for allowing the platform 101 to move freely, touch interactive display panel 103 allowing users to input commands and customize the cake rolling process, a motorized roller 104 via a first robotic arm 105 and wrapped with a sheet to unwrap the sheet, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 106 to determine dimensions of the cake, motorized cutting unit 107 via a robotic link 108 designed to cut the sheet, speaker to generate clear and audible instructions, a second robotic arm to position a flap 109 in front of the cake and a pressure sensor to detect the pressure applied by the roller 104 on the cake."
