MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024052 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated ceiling reinforcement device.'
Inventor(s) include Sushil Kumar Tripathi; and Dr. Deepak Kumar Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated ceiling reinforcement device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on ground surface underneath ceiling portion of an enclosure, touch enables screen 3 enabling user to give input commands for reinforcing ceiling with carbon fiber sheet, camera 4 captures images of the enclosure, omnidirectional wheels 5 for maneuvering the platform 1 vertically underneath user-selected location of the ceiling, scissor lift arrangement 6 for lifting plate 2in proximity to the user-selected location of the ceiling, reservoir 8 for storing adhesive solution, electronic nozzle 7 for dispensing the solution on the portion, extendable U-shaped frame 9 to extend for positioning a roller 10 in proximity of the ceiling, robotic gripper for gripping ends of the sheet to paste the sheet on the ceiling and the hydraulic pusher 11 to apply optimum amount of pressure on the sheet to paste the sheet on the ceiling."
