MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024174 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated circle/ arcs drawing device.'

Inventor(s) include Sonishree; Suprabh; Taranjeet Kaur; Shivani Goyal; and Amarjeet Kaur.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated circle/ arcs drawing device comprises an elongated body 1 having a handle accessed by a user for acquiring a grip over the body 1, an elongated body 1 having a handle that is accessed by a user for acquiring a grip over the body 1, a circular slot 4 carved on the body 1 for allowing the user to accommodate a pencil within the slot 4, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 installed on the body 1 detect thickness of the terminating edges, a microphone 7 embedded within the body 1 for receiving voice commands regarding dimensions of circle/ arc the user desires to draw, a pair of motorized rollers arranged on inner jaws of the clamp 3 for translating the clamp 3, and a BLDC electric motor installed in between the clamp 3 and member 2 for rotating the body 1 from the clamp 3."
