MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019801 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'automated clothes washing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated clothes washing device, comprising a hemispherical body 101 positioned in proximity to a water source having a first 102 and second 103 portion, a conduit 104 with a suction unit 105 attached to the first 102 portion for extracting water into first 102 portion, a semicircular plate 106 installed on first 102 portion for enabling a user to accommodate a cloth to be washed, a microphone 107 to provide input for washing cloth, an imaging unit 108 to determine deposition of dirt stains on cloth, an electronically controlled valve installed on plate 106 and connected with first 102 portion through a pipe to dispense water onto accommodated cloth, a multi-sectioned chamber 110 configured with an electronically controlled nozzle 109 to spray multiple washing liquids, plurality of cuboidal members 111 arranged on plate 106 via a pair of motorized sliding units 112 to scrub dirt to clean cloth."
