MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088382 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'automated cooking assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cooking assistive device, comprising a frame 1 integrated with a handle 2, a touch interactive display panel 3 for enabling user to provide input regarding quantity of a food item that is to be prepared, multiple chambers 4 integrated with an electronically controlled nozzle 5 for dispensing an appropriate quantity of ingredients into frame 1, the user is required to position frame 1 over a cooktop to initiate heating of frame 1 to cook food item, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 monitor additional additives added by user apart from dispensed ingredients, a speaker 7 producing voice notification for user to specify time of addition, and an color sensor for monitoring color of food item while being cooked and in case monitored color corresponds to completely cooked food item for actuating a speaker 7 to produce audio notification for user to remove frame 1 from cooktop."
