MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024063 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated cylindrical air filter cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Ram Bahadur; and Dr. Suyash Kumar Srivastava.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cylindrical air filter cleaning device, comprises a plate 2 positioned on ground surface, multiple telescopically operated rods 2 support the platform 1 at height from the surface, a plate 2 accessed by the user to position cylindrical air filter which is to be cleaned, an imaging unit 3 captures images of the platform 1 to determine dimensions of the filter, an expandable pulley arrangement 4 expands/retracts to accommodate filter on plate 2 multiple motorized clippers 5 grip the filter, a L-shaped telescopic bar 6 extends to position circular member 7 over upper portion of the filter, an electronically controlled nozzle 8 dispense highly pressurized compressed air on the filter to eliminate dirt and debris, multiple electronic valves 10 dispenses water on the filter to rinse the filter, a motorized ball and socket joint 11 orients the nozzle 8."
