MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511127101 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 15, 2025, for 'automated damp wall proof sheet application device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated damp wall proof sheet application device comprises of, a platform 101 with wheels 102 adapted to be maneuvered in vicinity to a wall, an imaging unit 103 for capturing and processing images of a wall to generate a 3D mapping of wall, a display panel 104 to display the generated mapping for enabling the user to provide input specifications, a lift arrangement 105 to extend position a body 106 at an optimal height from the wall surfaces, a roller 107 wrapped with damp proof sheet to rotate and unwrap the sheet from the roller 107, a rod 108 with cutting unit 109 to extend and position cutting unit 109 over sheet, and a arm 110 configured with an nozzle 115 to extend and position the nozzle 115 over the user-desired wall surface, a gripper 112 to grip and precisely position sheet over user-desired wall surface."
