MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024652 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'automated drum painting device.'

Inventor(s) include Vidhi Singh; and Dr. Mahesh Kumar Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An an automated drum painting device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed on the platform 1 for enabling user's input commands, an imaging unit 3 installed on the platform 1 to determine dimensions of the accommodated drum, a pair of motorized rollers 4 arranged on the body for painting the drum, a multi-sectioned chamber 5 integrated with plurality of electronically controlled nozzles to dispense a user-specified color paint on the drum, a horizontal plate 6 arranged on the rollers 4 for positioning a flap on the drum, a robotic arm 7 installed on the platform 1 for engaging a sticker stored in the chamber 5 on flap which is pasted on the drum and a pair of air blowers 8 installed on the platform 1 for drying paint applied on the drum."
