MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011206 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'automated edging panels installation device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Bidyadhara Basa.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated edging panels installation device, comprises of body 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of surroundings of the body, a microphone 105 to provide input voice commands regarding installing of edging panels on the user-selected area, a conveyer belt 108 to translate the panels towards the body 101 through an aperture 110 carved on side of the body, a pair of clamps 111 to sequentially acquire a grip of the translated panel from the belt 108 for positioning on the periphery of selected area, a hammer 113 by means of a hydraulically operated rod 114 to position the hammer 113 over the bolt, and a quick return arrangement 115 for moving the hammer 113 in a reciprocating motion for installing the edging panels over the periphery."
