MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012898 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'automated edible jelly balls manufacturing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated edible jelly balls manufacturing device, comprises of a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface configured with chambers 2 stored with raw materials, a touch enabled screen 3 accessed by a user to provide input commands for manufacturing jelly balls, a motorized iris lid 4 configured with chambers 2 for dispensing materials into a cylindrical body 16, multiple valves 5 for dispensing user-specified colored-paint into the body 16, a motorized stirrer 8 for making the mixture, an electronic nozzle configured with body 16 for dispensing mixture into spherical members 11, a Peltier for solidifying the mixture and obtain jelly balls, a tactile sensor for detecting hardness of jelly balls, a telescopically operated pusher 15 to push the jelly out of the members 11 and a speaker for notifying the user to collect jelly balls from the housing 1."
