MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024900 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'automated edibles frying device.'
Inventor(s) include Vaseem Raja.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated edibles frying device, comprises of a container 1 developed to be positioned over a burner, an inverted U-shaped frame 2 for accommodating edibles for frying, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 or capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of the container 1, a meshed sieve 4 accommodating the fried edibles, a pair of motorized sliding units 5 to translate the sieve 4 towards inside of the container 1, plurality of motorized hinges 6 to tilt portions of the sieve 4, a pair of motorized ball and socket to provide angular movement of the sieve 4, an extendable link for positioning the sieve 4 in a forward direction, a tray 8 over which the sieve 4 is positioned, a speaker 9 to produce audio notification for the user to turn off flame of the burner in order to maintain an optimum temperature of the oil."
