MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025483 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated emulsion spreading device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh Brar; Dr. Simrat Kaur; Gautam Pareek; and Garima.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated emulsion spreading device comprises a frame having a first 1 and second 2 portion, first 1 portion is arranged with a touch interactive display panel 3 that is accessed by a user for providing input, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on the frame determine dimensions of the surface, plurality of motorized wheels 5 arranged underneath the frame moving the frame over the evaluated area, a motorized roller 6 is arranged at the second 2 portion by means of a pair of extendable links 7 for positioning the roller 6 in contact with the area on the surface, and plurality of electronically controlled valves 9 are integrated on the roller, each connected with the chamber 8 for dispensing the user-specified emulsion from the chamber 8 on surface of the roller."
