MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013489 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated engine fins repairing device for two-wheeler.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated engine fins repairing device for two-wheeler comprises of a platform 1 arranged with multiple rods 2 that provides support to platform 1 on a ground surface, a motorized wheel 3 for providing movement to platform 1 on surface, a holder 4 accessed by a user to place two-wheeler vehicle's engine head, a weight sensor for detecting placement of engine head on holder 4, multiple telescopic pushers 5 for securing engine head on holder 4, an imaging unit 6 for determining distorted fins on engine's head, a robotic link 7 arranged with a straightening tool 8 for straightening distorted fins, a dust sensor for detecting presence of dust particles on engine's head and an electronic nozzle 9 coupled with a water reservoir 10 for dispensing water on head in order to clean dust particles."
