MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023567 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'automated face peel mask applicator device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Saraswati Ghosh; and Tikshata Wamborkar.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated face peel mask applicator device, comprising a ring 1 installed around top portion of a tube of face peel mask gripped by a user, a microphone 2 for enabling user to give voice commands for securing ring 1 with tube, an imaging unit 4 for detecting length of tube, a pair of extendable plates 5 towards bottom portion of tube, a pair of rollers 6 via a pair of telescopically operated links 7 to extend for positioning rollers 6 in contact with tube, a pair of motorized sliders 8 for translating the links 7 for squeezing out of mask from tube via rollers 6 that peel mask is collected on a semi-circular member 16, a speaker 11 for recommending user not to use peel mask and a pair of motorized clippers 15 to grip lower portion of mask applied on user's face."
