MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005877 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'automated fence assembling device.'
Inventor(s) include Pawanpreet Walia; Nisha Kumari; and Kushnain Kaur.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fence assembling device comprises of a C-shaped body 1 positioned at edge of a frame in which fencing wire mesh is to be attached, multiple motorized wheels 2 to maneuver body 1 over frame, a camera 3 for detecting dimension of frame, a sliding arrangement for expanding body 1 in accordance with dimension of frame, a motorized clamp 4 arranged with a hydraulic rod 5 that positions clamp 4 in proximity of wire mesh followed by activation of clamp 4 to clasp and pull mesh up to edge of frame, a tension measuring sensor for measuring tension of wire mesh while pulling mesh, a welding unit 6 attached with a bar 7 to weld mesh with frame as means of assembling fence and a motorized ball and socket joint 8 for providing a multidirectional movement to welding unit 6 for performing welding of mesh in an appropriate manner."
