MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007797 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'automated floor tile laying assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated floor tile laying assistive device, comprises of a body 1 developed to be installed on a ground surface, a display panel 2 accessed by a user for providing input, an imaging unit 3 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of body 1, multiple motorized wheels 4 for moving body 1 in proximity to detected damage, an ultrasonic sensor for monitoring dimensions of detected crack or gapping, an electronically controlled nozzle 5 connected on a storage chamber 6 to dispense a filler material within crack/gapping, a flap 7 attached with a telescopically operated L-shaped bar 8 to evenly level material within gapping/crack, a container 9 stored with a primer solution and coupled with an electronically controlled sprinkler 10 that sprinkles primer solution on surface, a motorized roller 11 arranged with multiple bristles 12 for spreading primer throughout area in order to prepare surface for laying of tiles."
