MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010076 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated floor tile paving device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Neeraj Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated floor tile paving device, comprises of a platform 1 utilize to position on a ground surface, a camera 2 positioned on the platform 1 for capturing multiple images of the surface in surrounding of the platform 1, a touch enabled screen 3 mounted on the platform 1 to select an area on the surface along with pattern, a laser acuity sensor fabricated on the platform 1 for detecting dimension of the tiles pre-positioned on the surface, a speaker 4 assembled on the platform 1 for notifying the user to provide required number of tile, an inverted U-shaped hydraulic actuator 5 configured with the platform 1 to extend and position a rectangular extendable frame 6 assembled with the actuator 5 above the tile, and at least four nozzles 11 configured with the container 10 to dispense paste of pressed cement on the to adhere tile on the surface."
