MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023115 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'automated foam sheet relocating device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated foam sheet relocating device, comprising a housing 1 positioned over a ground surface by means of plurality of motorized omni-directional wheels 2, a touch interactive display panel 3 provide input regrading relocation of a sheet, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 determines dimensions of sheet and accordingly actuates wheels 2 to position housing 1 near middle portion of sheet, a horizontal hydraulic rod 5 extend for inserting rod 5 beneath sheet, two motorized sprockets 6 engaged with a chain 7, elevate rod 5 and lifting sheet that gets folded over rod 5, an inverted L-shaped hydraulic bar 8 positions an extendable U-shaped member 9 near lifted sheet for gripping ends of sheet in a secure manner, a GPS (Global Positioning System) module determines a path to be followed to reach up-to user specified location accordingly wheels 2 moves."
