MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024027 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated foot corn treating device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated foot corn treating device comprises of a platform 1 incorporating plurality of suction cups 2 are configured beneath platform 1 for affixing the platform 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on platform 1 to determine location of foot corns, a speaker 4 installed over platform 1 to guide the user, an electronic nozzle 5 configured with the chamber 6 to dispense a regulated amount of water, a robotic arm 7 installed over the platform 1 to position a motorized pumice stone 8 in contact with the detected foot corns, a tactile sensor installed with the stone to monitor hardness of foot, an electronic spray valve 10 configured with a container 9 to dispense an antiseptic liquid, a thermal camera 11 installed over the platform 1 to monitor presence of injury over the feet, an robotic gripper 12 to access a tray assembled over the platform 1."
