MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020656 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated furniture lifting device.'
Inventor(s) include Dhruv Joshi; Jitendra Kumar Singh Jadon; Abhishek Dabas; and Neha Yajurvedi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated furniture lifting device comprising a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to platform 1 on a ground surface, a primary motorized wheel 3 is attached with each rods 2 for providing movement to platform 1 on surface, an imaging unit 4 to determines presence and dimension of furniture, a telescopic bar 5 position a plate 14 at first edge of furniture, a motorized pivot joint 7 for providing movement to plate 14, primary pair of telescopic poles 8 to position a plank 13underneath a first pair of supporting legs, a rotatable disc 9 to position plate 14 second edge of furniture, secondary pair of telescopic poles 10 to position a plank 13underneath a second pair of supporting legs, a display panel 11 to input details regarding a location towards which user desires to relocate furniture, multiple secondary motorized wheels 12 to relocate furniture."
