MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024832 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'automated glass cleaning device for high rise building.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Deepika; Dr. Stuti; Sonali Salaria; and Harshpreet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated glass cleaning device for high rise building, comprising an elongated frame 1 positioned at edge of roof of a high rise building and installed with a pair of anchor plates for providing a support to frame 1, a rectangular platform 2 is suspended at front portion of frame 1 via a string 3, a motorized roller 4 via a pair of L-shaped links 5 for gradually unwrapping string 3 to move platform 2 towards ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 detects curvature of building, a pair of motorized hinges tilts links 5 towards/away from frame 1 along with roller, plurality of electronic nozzles 8 dispenses cleaning solution on glasses, plurality of pneumatic bristles 9 with a pair of motorized cylindrical members 10 scrubs glasses, and plurality of iris pores 7 opens to withdraw cleaning solution and water in a vessel paired with suction unit."
