MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012834 A) filed by Bennett University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'automated image captioning using deep learning.'
Inventor(s) include Prof. Ajith Abraham; and Prof. Tapas Badal.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention presents an apparatus for automated image captioning employing deep learning techniques. By integrating an image input interface, a feature extraction module, a deep learning module, and an output interface, the system efficiently processes digital images to generate accurate and contextually relevant textual descriptions.
