MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018166 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'automated insole manufacturing device for disabled personnel.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated insole manufacturing device for disabled personnel, comprises a platform 1 having a pair of slots 2 for positioning user's feet portion, a touch interactive display panel 3 for inputting details regarding desired operation type, a speaker 4 to notify user, multiple clamping units 5 installed within box for securing shoes within box, a robotic gripper 6 for securing and positioning old insole from box to a body 7 comprising a circular ring 8 having plurality of sections 9 for storing multiple crafting elements, an iris lid 10 for pouring elements, a telescopic pusher 11 for providing an appropriate force onto mold to craft evaluated insole, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 12 to determine successful crafting of insole, an electronic nozzle 13 embedded on a chamber 14 for dispensing binding solution over insole and robotic gripper 6 grips and attach crafted insole within shoe of user."
