MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025495 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated kitchen plate cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh Brar; Dr. Chhinder Kaur; Chirag Garg; and Avneet Kumar Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated kitchen plate cleaning device, comprises a platform 1 accessed by a user to accommodate multiple kitchen plates, multiple suction cups 2 secure the platform 1 on the surface, an imaging unit 3 captures images of vicinity of the platform 1, an expandable disc 4 expands to accommodate the plates, a sensing module detects intensity of stains, electronic nozzle 5 dispenses cleaning solution over the plates, a motorized disc 7 scrubs the plate via the bristles 9, an electronic valve 10 dispensing the water on the plate, a motorized hot air blower 12 blows hot air towards the plates, a container 13 stores kitchen paper, a pair of robotic arms 14 grip and position kitchen paper over the cleaned plate."
