MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023586 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'automated metallic sheet embossing device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Ashutosh Sharma; and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated metallic sheet embossing device, comprising a housing 1 positioned over a ground surface, a chamber 2 arranged over the housing 1 installed with a motorized cylindrical member 3 wrapped with a metallic sheet, a touch interactive display panel 4 installed over the housing 1 to enable a user to provide input commands, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 installed over the body for determining the unwrapped sheet gripped by a pair of robotic gripper 6 installed with the housing 1 and inserting the sheet within a pair of motorized embossing rollers 7 installed with the housing 1, a motorized cutter 8 installed with the chamber 2 to cut the sheet and a speaker 9 installed over the housing 1 to notify the user regarding the receded thickness and hardness of the sheet."
