MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013531 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated mobile phone cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Beemkumar Nagappan.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated mobile phone cleaning device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be placed with a mobile phone, a touch display 2 installed on the platform 1 enabling user's input commands, a camera 3 mounted on the platform 1 detecting phone's dimensions, a set of pushers 4 configured on the platform 1 gripping the phone, a primary robotic arm 5 configured on the platform 1 equipped with a brush 6 cleaning the phone, a chamber 7 arranged on the platform 1 dispensing cleaning solution on the phone, a pair of clippers 8 installed on the platform 1 gripping adhesive sheet from a roller 9 installed on the platform 1, a secondary robotic arm installed on the platform 1 equipped with a rubberized flap 10 allowing dust to stick on the sheet and an air blower 11 mounted on the platform 1 eliminating moisture from the phone."
