MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013354 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'automated nut manufacturing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated nut manufacturing device comprises of a housing 1 installed on a fixed surface, a display panel 2 accessed by a user for providing input, a robotic arm 4 for gripping and inserting one of rod within a cylindrical member 5 arranged on a platform 6, a cutting blade 9 assembled with a telescopically operated rod 10 to perform cutting of rod at projected light, a conveyor belt 11 for translating cut disc into a heating container 12, a heating coil 13 for softening disc, a telescopically operated bar 15 for positioning a casting unit 16 onto a molding unit 14, a motorized drilling unit 17 to form a cavity at center portion, a threading tool 18 arranged with an extendable pole 19 and a motorized ball and socket joint 20 for rotating tool as means of casting thread on inner periphery of cavity."
