MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014265 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'automated object relocation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Shweta Lamba; Dr. Ranjan Sarival; and Dr. Mandeep Kaur.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated object relocation device, comprising a U-shaped frame 1 positioned over the ground surface via a pair of telescopic rods 2 attached with wheels configured with the frame 1 for translating the frame 1, an imaging unit 3 installed on the frame 1 for determining an object, a pair of hydraulic bars 4 configured with an extendable member 5 configured with the frame 1 for extending to secure the object via suction cups attached with the member 5, a display panel 7 installed with the frame 1 for enabling user input commands, a hook 8 configured with the via an electromagnetic spring 9 attached with the frame 1 for holding objects and a pair of straps 10 arranged with the member 5 for lifting the object."
