MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010750 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'automated oil filter manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Aaditya Jain; and Himansh Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated oil filter manufacturing device, comprises of a housing 1 configured with at least four rods 2 to support to the housing 1 in a vertical orientation on a ground surface, a motorized omnidirectional wheel 3 is attached with each of the rods 2 for providing movement to the housing 1 on the surface, a touch interactive display panel 4 mounted on the housing 1 to give input, a motorized cutter 6 arranged within the housing 1 for cutting a piece of pre-defined length from the sheet, a telescopic pusher 9 suspended from ceiling of the housing 1 for extending to push and mould the sheet to form a cylindrical shaped casing, a second robotic gripper 10 mapped within the housing 1 for withdrawing and a telescopically operated punch 15 assembled on the second end for extending to push the cover plate to seal and manufacture the oil filter."
