MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011302 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'automated paste dispensing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated paste dispensing device, comprising a body 1 having a first and second developed to be installed on a fixed surface, a button 2 accessed by user for filling a paste within body 1, a lid 3 installed on first portion via a motorized pivot joint 4 to open for allowing user to fill paste within body 1, a chamber 5 for accommodating filled paste, a suction unit 6 attached at base of chamber 5 for pulling paste towards base to ensure thorough filling of chamber 5 within paste, a slot accessed by user to initiate dispensing of paste from body 1, multiple plates 7 configured on walls of chamber 5 and connected with each other via motorized hinge joint 8 for applying a compressive force onto paste to move towards base, and a motorized iris lid 9 for opening to allow user to collect paste from body 1."
