MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084000 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'automated plastering device for inclined surface.'

Inventor(s) include Rini Saxena; and Sahil Verma.

The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated plastering device for inclined surface, comprising a cuboidal body 1 installed with four motorized wheels 3 for providing movement to body 1, a chamber 4 manually filled with a plastering mixture via an opening 5, an AI based imaging unit 6 installed on body 1 to evaluate a 3D mapping of surroundings which is displayed on a touch interactive display panel 7 mounted on body 1 enables user to specified a portion to be layered along with inclination angle, an electric pump mapped within chamber 4 for pumping mixture, an electronic nozzle 8 connected with chamber 4 for dispensing mixture towards user specified portion, a telescopic bar 10 configured with a motorized grinding unit 11 for extending to position grinding unit 11 over portion for grinding portion to provide an optimum angle to surface which is monitored by a RADAR sensor mapped on the body 1."
