MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007796 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'automated pole excavation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated pole excavation device comprises of a body 1, multiple wheels 2 for providing movement to body 1, a display panel 3 for enabling a user to provide input, an imaging unit 4 for detecting successful positioning of body 1, multiple pneumatic pins 5 for providing stability to body 1, an extendable slider 6 for positioning a circular member 7 in proximity to tip of pole, a motorized hinge joint for tilting slider 6 towards pole, a motorized iris lid 8 for creating a grip to affix member 7 over pole, a hydraulic rod 9 configured with a motorized pin joint that deploys rod 9 towards slider 6, an electromagnetic strip 10 for magnetizing as means of shaking pole in order to loosen soil present in proximity to pole, multiple electronic nozzle 11 for dispensing water within soil for loosening soil to aid in excavation of pole from soil."
