MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013480 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated polyethylene molds manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Rupinder Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated polyethylene molds manufacturing device, comprises of a body 1 attached to a vertically positioned circular frame 2, a touch-enabled screen 3 mounted over the circular frame 2 to allow the user to enter details regarding dimensions of mold to be manufactured, a pneumatically powered die 4 to accommodate multiple polyethylene balls, an electronic valve 5 fabricated within a chamber 6 to dispense the polyethylene balls, plurality of burners 7 paired with an electric lighter 8 to heat the circular frame 2, a flap 9 attached via a motorized hinge 10 opens when the molding process is completed, a spraying unit 11 paired with a container 12 to spray water over the manufactured mold, and a motorized clamp 13 to pull out the manufactured mold."
