MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010128 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated quality-assurance based egg storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Vivek Kumar; and Navneet Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated quality-assurance based egg storage device comprising a plate 1 integrated with a handle 2 that is accessed by a user for gripping plate 1, an imaging unit 3 to determine positioning of multiple eggs present in proximity to plate 1, multiple sliding units 4 arranged on plate 1 in a regular pattern coupled with multiple motorized grippers 5 to extend and grip each of eggs in a cautious manner, multiple of odor sensor mounted on plate 1 for monitoring odor of each of eggs, a robotic arm 6 for gripping and removing spoiled egg from plate 1, a detachable chamber 7 by means of multiple protrusions 8 engaged on multiple grooves fabricated on plate 1 wherein chamber 7 is accessed by arm 6 for positioning removed spoiled eggs within chamber 7."
