MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013484 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated radiator fan maintenance device.'

Inventor(s) include Gurprinder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated radiator fan maintenance device, comprising a platform 1 having a slot 3 that is accessed by a user to place a radiator fan which is detected by a weight sensor installed on slot 3, a motorized clamp 4 assembled on platform 1 via a link rod 5 for clamping fan, a heating unit installed inside a chamber 6 for generating heat inside chamber 6, a reservoir 11 stored with a coolant solution, a first temperature sensor detects temperature inside chamber 6, an thermostatic valve 8 integrated within a radiator 9 assembled on platform 1 for opening to allow supply of solution towards inlet of radiator 9, an electric motor connected with fan for blowing air on fins for cooling coolant solution, a second temperature sensor detects temperature of coolant moving out of radiator 9, a speaker 10 notifies user regarding malfunctioning in fan."
