MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014214 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'automated safety device for toddlers.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated safety device for toddlers, comprising a wearable body 1 developed to be accommodated by a toddler over a torso region via a pair of straps 2 attached with the body 1, a gyroscope 3 and an angle sensor 4 mapped on the body 1 detecting unbalancing of the toddler along with angle of the toddler's body, a motorized slider 5 arranged on the body 1 to position an inflatable member 6 attached with the slider 5 towards point of contact of the ground, an imaging unit 7 mounted on the body 1 determining toddler's height, an ultrasonic sensor 8 installed on the body 1 determining fall of toddler on a fixed surface, a pair of telescopic links 9 attached with a suction cup 10 for assisting the toddler to attain a standing posture."
