MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020782 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated sand sieving and shifting device.'

Inventor(s) include Pradeep Kumar Shah.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated sand sieving and shifting device, comprising a rectangular-shaped frame 1 positioned in proximity to a heap of sand, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the frame 1 to evaluate a 3D (three-dimensional) mapping of the surroundings that is displayed over a touch interactive display panel 3 mapped on the frame 1, a conveyor belt 4, arranged with plurality of flaps 5 via hinges installed on the frame 1 to provide rotation to the flaps 5 for forming multiple closed structures on the belt 4, a motorized shovel 6 arranged on the frame 1 for scooping and deploy the scooped sand onto the closed structures, a sieving plate 7 positioned underneath the frame 1 for sieving the sand and a tray 8 positioned underneath the plate 7 for reviving the sand sieved by the sieving plate 7."
