MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012946 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'automated silage bundle packaging device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated silage bundle packaging device, comprises of a platform 1 installed with a plate 2 for accommodating the silage bundle, a touch-enabled screen 3 to input details regarding the color of plastic sheet, a rod 4 attached with a bar 5 for wrapping the silage, a pair of rings 6 connected with each other via plurality of primary and secondary spools (7, 8) for packaging the bundle, a camera 9 for detecting the color of sheet, a motorized slider 10 for positioning the spools, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 11 for gripping the sheet, a pair of motorized rollers 12 for rotating the bundle, a pair of blades 14 attached with the robotic arms 13 for cutting the sheet, a motorized threaded shaft 15 for maneuvering a block 16 to tilt the plates 2, a speaker 17 for notifying the user to collect the packaged bundle."
