MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014271 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'automated sleeves cuff styling device.'
Inventor(s) include Shailee Thakur; Mannat Bains; Rashi Arora; Arin Dhrota; and Kanika.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated sleeves cuff styling device, comprising an expandable ring 1 worn on a user's arm, an imaging unit 2 embedded on the ring 1 to determine length of the user's arm, an elongated plate 3 integrated with a circular member 4 for positioning over user's wrist, plurality of electromagnetically powered springs 5 integrated on the member 4 for adjusting dimensions of the member 4 as per the user's wrist, a pair of motorized clippers 6 integrated on periphery of the member 4 for gripping a portion of cuffed sleeves, a microphone 7 integrated on the ring 1 for enabling user's voice commands and a speaker 8 integrated with the ring 1 for alerting the user regarding the detected moisture."
