MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018780 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'automated snack dispensing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated snack dispensing device, comprising a cylindrical housing 101 arranged with a multi-sectioned chamber 102, each section is developed to store snacks of various types, a microphone 103 receive voice command of user regarding dispensing of a mixture of specific types of snacks, an electronic valve 201 installed over bottom portion of each of sections to open particular valve 201 configured with specific sections to dispense a regulated amount of user-specified snacks in a receptacle 202 arranged beneath chamber 102, a motorized horizontal shaft 203 installed within receptacle 202 to rotate on axis, multiple pneumatic pins 204 are installed over shaft 203 that extend up to a pre-defined length to mix received user-specified snacks, an motorized iris lid 205 installed over base portion of receptacle 202 to open in view of dispensing mixed user-specified snacks into an auxiliary bowl positioned beneath lid 205 by user."
