MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024711 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'automated soil levelling device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rohit Sharma; and Sushil Kumar Tripathi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated soil levelling device, comprising a U-shaped frame 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface of an agricultural field, an imaging unit 2 installed on the frame 1 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of surroundings of the surface which is displayed on a touch interactive display panel 3 mounted on the frame 1 for enabling a user to select a particular area of the field, a pair of motorized wheels 4 arranged on the frame 1 to move the frame 1 over the surface, plurality of motorized rollers 5 arranged on the frame 1 to rotate for moving on the surface, plurality of pins 6 fabricated with the rollers 5 for digging the surface for removing unwanted grass from the surface along with ploughing the surface and a motorized flap 7 integrated on the roller 5 to collect the removed grass for levelling the ploughed surface."
