MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026031 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'automated stamp manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Sanjeet Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated stamp manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface and installed with a chamber 2 stored with plurality of plastic sheets via a pair of pneumatic pins 3, an imaging unit 6 mounted within the housing 1 for detecting presence of the sheet on platform 5, a pair of clamps 7 installed on the platform 5 via a pair of L-shaped links 8 to grip the sheet, a blade 9 suspended from ceiling portion of the housing 1 via a telescopically operated rod 10 for cutting the sheet in the user-defined shape and design, a robotic arm 14 equipped with an electronic nozzle 15 to dispense adhesive solution on the pad, a gripper 13 configured within the housing 1 for gripping pads from a container 12 arranged in housing 1 for placing on base portion in view of manufacturing the stamp."
