MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025565 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated straw/hay storing and unloading device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated straw/hay storing and unloading device comprises a cuboidal body 1 configured with a pair of track wheels 17 for maneuvering the body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit evaluates a 3D mapping of the surroundings, a touch enabled screen 3 installed on the platform for user input, a set of curved plates 4 installed on the body 1 via a telescopically operated rod 5 for positioning the plates 4, a motorized threaded shaft 7 configured with a block 8 via a pivot joint 9 tilting of the plate 6 along with the straw/hay, a motorized door installed on the body 1, a pair of L-shaped hydraulically operated links 10 installed on the body 1 and each configured with an extendable curved-shaped member 11 accommodates the straw/hay with the members 11, a telescopically operated pusher 12 for loading the straw/hay over the member 11."
