MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005468 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'automated stuck bangle removing device.'

Inventor(s) include Krishna Kalsi; Ashwini K. Sharma; Bhasker Pratap Choudhary; and Navdeep Prashar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated stuck bangle removing device, comprises of a platform 1 configured with multiple telescopic rods 2 that provides support to the platform 1 on a ground surface, an ultrasonic sensor installed on the platform 1 for detecting height of a user standing in close proximity to the platform 1, an inverted L-shaped telescopic bar 5 assembled on the platform 1 for extending to position a conical shaped compressible member 6 attached with the bar 5 over the user's hand, an electronic nozzle 8 connected with a chamber 7 stored with a lubrication solution assembled on the bar 5 for dispensing the solution on the member 6 in order to reduce friction on the member 6, and a robotic link 9 configured with a gripping unit 10 assembled on the platform 1 for positioning the gripping unit 10 around the member 6 to grip the stuck bangle."
