MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017978 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'automated surface levelling device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Biswaranjan Swain.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated surface levelling device comprises of a body 101 having an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of surroundings of the body 101, a touch interactive display panel 104 for displaying the generated mapping and for user's selection, plurality of wheels 102 are arranged underneath the body 101 to move the body 101 over the surface, a laser sensor for detecting uneven surface on the area along with presence of stones, a compactor unit 105 having a quick return arrangement 107 arranged with the body 101 by means of a pair of hydraulically operated rods 106 for positioning the compactor unit 105 on the uneven surface for compressing the stones, a chamber 108 stored with water having an electronically controlled nozzle 109 installed in the body 101 to spray water for suppressing any dust and stabilizing soil present in the area."
