MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019154 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated sweet ball preparation device.'

Inventor(s) include Sunil Kumar Gaur.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated sweet ball preparation device, comprising a rectangular platform 1 installed with a first and second semi-circular extendable members 2, 3 via a pair of plates 4, a touch enabled screen 5 for specifying size of a sweet ball required, a drawer arrangement 6 to extend/retract members 2, 3, a speaker 7 for notifying user to fill mixture of sweet ball in first member 2, a camera 8 for detecting filling of mixture in first member 2, a rack and pinion gear arrangement 9 for translating one of plate 4 to position second member 3 over first member 2 for enclosing mixture of sweet ball between members 2, 3, a vibrating unit 10 for shaping mixture and obtaining sweet ball, a motorized hinge 11 for tilting second member 3 away from first member 2 to allow user to collect sweet."
