MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087334 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'automated toothpaste dispensing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Subbulakshmi Ganesan.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated toothpaste dispensing device, comprises of an L-shaped platform 1 configured with a set of suction cups 2 for adhering the platform 1 with a wall of an enclosure, a pair of motorized clippers 5 installed with the rod 4 for gripping free end of the tube, a weight sensor is mapped on each of the clippers 5 that works in synchronization for detecting weight of the tube, a camera 6 mounted on the platform 1 for capturing multiple images of the tube, a touch enabled screen 7 mapped on the platform 1 for enabling a user to give input commands for squeezing out the toothpaste from the tub, and a slider crank arrangement configured with the plate 3 for wrapping the tube to facilitate squeezing out of the toothpaste from the tube."
